Kathy Blough, Psy.S is a Psychotherapist, Certified Holistic Health Counselor and author of a mini-monograph titled “The Experience of Being Diagnosed with Cancer” published by MindBodyMed Press. Kathy has significant experience dealing with the emotional impact that being diagnosed with cancer can have on the patient or the family. Kathy has substantial training and experience in working with people suffering from all types of emotional or physical distress. She integrates psychotherapeutic approaches with energy psychology and mind-body medicine modalities to enhance healing on all levels, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

As a psychotherapist, mind-body medicine practitioner, and individual who has been personally affected by cancer throughout her life, it is my personal and professional mission to enhance healing, comfort, education and wellness to those diagnosed with this illness. At the heart of ACEF is it’s mission to “empower and improve the quality of life of cancer survivors and their loved ones…” . ACEF integrates research, evidenced based nutrition and mind-body medicine modalities to support the cancer patient on all levels. This mission, along with the knowledge, education and integrity of Werner Absenger, CEO and the other board members, is why I have chosen to serve on the board of the Absenger Cancer Education Foundation. I am honored to serve alongside such innovative and qualified professionals.
