Mind-Body Medicine Research Scientist
As a research scientist I am interested in using state-of-the-art imaging techniques, immunological assays, quantitative, qualitative & mixed methods research methods to investigate mind-body modalities.
As a mind-body medicine research scientist, I take special interest in the study of the modulatory effects Clinical Hypnosis, Guided Imagery, Mindfulness Meditation, Yoga, Qigong and Mind-Body Skills Groups have on psychoneuroimmunology and the expression of cytokines in cancer patients.
Mind-Body Medicine Speaker
Presenting to audiences large and small about my studies and research is one of the coolest components of my gig. Years of undergraduate and graduate school have provided me with a systematic, data-driven rationale on Complementary & Alternative Medicine as well as Mind-Body Medicine. I create my presentations using thorough research to advance beyond mere speculation and probe into the reality of the field of Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
Being positively enthusiastic about these topics, which translates into my presentations, I will tailor my content to audiences extending from trained healthcare providers to novices merely beginning their journey.
